Nine Months Old

Sage is now 9 months old! She's officially been in this world longer than when she was in the womb. It's been amazing to see her grow and change right in front of our eyes.

She's doing lots of new things every day. Her word list includes: Hi, Hey, Daddy, Dandi, Yay!, Baby, Duck, Up, and lots of other words that come tumbling out at random. (She repeats you when you least expect it!)

Her favorite foods are avocados and yogurt and mangos. She's also fond of puffed millet and blueberries, both of which she finger feeds herself. She's learning to do new things everyday. She's mastered crawling and pulling up and is into everything! Though she hasn't taken an independent step yet, she stands on her own and walks with very little assistance.

Sage is an absolute blast and we enjoy every moment we've been given with her. We can't imagine being any happier than we are with our little girl!

Messy Eater

Sage really loves to eat, especially fruit! Sometimes, however, she gets a little carried away while enjoying her meals and that can quickly turn into, well, a mess!

Busy Baby = Busy Mommy

Hi Everyone!

So sorry I've been so behind with the blog, but this little stinker has kept me super busy! I managed to keep up until she started crawling. Now I'm chasing a very mobile baby girl who's trying to walk and eating solid food 2 -3 times a day. I'm a full time mommy, and boy do I mean full time! (And loving every moment of it, day and night!)

I'll do my best to catch up when I can. By the way, this is Sage's funny face. She wrinkles up her knows and sniffs and smiles. It's so cute! She does it when she gets excited. She's excited Mommy's blogging again! More to come soon!

Finger Foods

Sage is starting to enjoy eating finger foods.

A fun one is puffed millet! However, we find the tiny little puffs all over the house now! Dandi and Sogno are always on patrol to help clean it up though!

Swimming

We took Sage swimming for the first time!

We plopped her in her float and she was a little nervous, but once we took her out and got her use to the water, she had a blast!

She kicked and splashed with arms and loves floating on her back.

This summer is going to be so much fun with our little tadpole!
